The insurance mountain

On early February of this year I got a WhatsApp message at around 10 PM. Usually clients don’t send messages at this late of a time but over the years I got used to the fact that sometimes things can't wait for the morning. The message was a funeral announcement informing me that the client's mother had died. This woman was also my client, she was a sweet lady, a retired English teacher who I visited a few times, and we had a nice connection. The whole family was so pleased with my services that they sent me to their friends and in this case the client's mom.
I do not know how other insurance agents act around their clients, but I tend to get really close with mine. The funeral was the next day and it was morning. It was a terrible shock to everyone; it always is in these cases, but she was only 70 years old. It was raining the next morning and when I attended the funeral. The shock and grief were apparent on everyone's faces. After a month or so, the daughter called me and asked if there were any insurances or pension plans. So here is what I want you to know: The treasury ministry created two sites for locating deceased people insurance plans and pension plans or bank accounts. The money mountain and the insurance mountain, both have the Gov.il ending and both are free. So, if you are looking to check and see if there is anything you should look there: https://harb.cma.gov.il/ https://itur.mof.gov.il/#/main/landing
You should also investigate the policies conditions as well because sometimes there is money in unclaimed Long-term care insurance, death during surgery through the private health policy or other cases. You should also call each insurance company and ask them to run a search on the ID number of the deceased because sometimes (believe it or not) things don't show up on the government site.
